  1. Just my humble point of view as non-professional, I’ve published more than twenty new species of crustacean decapods, eight new genera and four families of them.
    Those papers were published in collaboration with professional scientifists, with other amateurs like me or even as sole autor.
    ALL the material studied came from fossil collectors from over the world, who discovered them and who kindly and generously donated their findings to the Science.
    As usual, when the overregulation surpass the common sense, nothing good can be expected.
    Common sense also implies the respect for significant fossils and the knowledge that they must be available for the Science.
    My thougth is that is better to educate than ban. Paleontological Clubs and Societies are one of the best tools to sensibilize and teach the people, and socialize the Science.
    I can only agree ith all that has been said in your letter.
